New-build villa just by the beach. The client had purchased the plot with outline planning consent on a sloping plot.

AKLC redeveloped the scheme with significant amendments to circulation, layout and elevations. The sloping undulation of the site allowed for a single story building on approach. On entering from the south-east and traversing through the building the 3 levels gradually unravel, taking in the Provencal countryside panorama. All open aspect facades are north-west facing with cool breezes, and allow for passive ventilation.

Internal and external aesthetics including FF&E were developed to production information and construction. Met with French contractor to discuss details and in particular glass pavement lights - an unknown concept in St. Tropez - these were shipped from the UK.

All CCTV and services including underfloor heating were wi-fi web wired with internal / external LED sensor lighting.
